EES Expands to Meet Booming Efficiency Demand

massachusetts scorecard

Did you know Massachusetts ranked 1st in the country for energy efficiency in 2015? Mass. claimed the title for the fifth year in a row, demonstrating ongoing support for efforts to reduce energy consumption and waste.

2016 will be even more remarkable, as all signs point to an ever expanding market for energy efficiency throughout the state and across the country. The cost of technology has dropped, and substantial utility incentives, like the rebates available in Massachusetts, are driving down paybacks and prompting more business owners to pursue energy efficiency initiatives.  To meet this booming demand, we are excited to announce that EES Consulting is expanding. This spring we are opening more US locations and one in Canada, as well as expanding our Massachusetts team.

We are thrilled to introduce our new Director of Sales, John McNamara.

John McNamaraJohn brings over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and sales team development to EES Consulting. Prior to joining EES, John was the New England Territory Sales Manager at Comcast Corporation, where he led Best in Class Regional Sales Teams. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, as well as several professional certificates in sales administration and marketing.

Top 5 Energy Trends to Watch in 2016

Energy efficiency is out; Operational Efficiency in IN (and in a very big way!)

operational efficiency2016 is all about integration; solutions that work together to change processes rather than changing a specific technology or behavior.

The major trends for the coming year indicate that building owners recognize the financial value of measuring and monitoring building performance, and using that data to guide operational strategies and make smarter investments.

While lighting retrofits remain the most popular CapEx investment, this year we’re seeing more businesses – both large and small – developing comprehensive resource management strategies to drive cost savings even further.  With the changing energy grid, rising water prices, and tighter regulations, these growing trends can give savvy companies a real competitive edge and improve their bottom line.
