EES Consulting’s staff in Dalton, GA is a diversified, highly educated and knowledgeable team. Their backgrounds encompass civil, chemical and electrical engineering, building science, finance and project management. The team has an average equivalent of a Master’s Degree, over 20 years of experience and almost three designations each.
Dan has been a CEO and CFO with four top global companies, including AIG Central Europe, living in Moscow, AEGON Asia, and GE Capital. He has most recently acted as Managing Director and Chairman of TD Bank in the Caribbean. Dan received his MBA with emphasis in International Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, graduating with distinction.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), maintains 10 other financial designations and has a B.S. in Accounting and Business. He brings global leadership, having worked on six continents and is known for creative financial structures for energy projects.
Chris graduated from North Seattle Community College with an A.S. in Architectural Engineering then received a B.S. in Engineering Management with a concentration in Construction Management at University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Chris is a certified HERS rater and has experience in building science and energy efficient construction.
Chris previously worked for Green Spaces before joining EES. He currently manages energy efficiency projects from lighting upgrades, HVAC retrofits to building envelope improvements.
Hubert Van Der Harst
VP Energy Solutions
Hubert has extensive experience on five continents in operations, systems engineering, product management, and business development. He has been employed by major corporations in Africa, the Netherlands and the USA. He has consulted in renewable energy operations for the largest state-owned employer in the Bahamas and technical project leadership for major system implementations throughout Latin America in the energy and telecommunications industries.
Hubert received his M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. He is known for his creative solutions using new technologies.
VP Industrial Waste and Recycling
Mark received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his MBA from Christian Brothers University. He has worked as a process engineer in the chemical manufacturing industry and for several years has consulted in industrial waste and recycling.
Additionally, Mark has experience with environmental consulting, non-hazardous waste alternatives, grain exports, market development, landfill alternatives, and waste to energy solutions. Mark is Six Sigma certified. He often sees opportunity where others are disposing materials at cost.
Director of Energy Solutions
Olivia graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Construction Management. Working as an Estimator, she consistently bid commercial projects ranging from $5-20 million located throughout the southeastern United States. Additionally, she worked as a pre-construction Project Engineer where she was responsible for the bidding and design of utility-scale solar and wind farms, 20MW -200MW. Her ability to generate ideas, working in conjunction with civil and electrical engineers, allowed her to facilitate conversations resulting in more efficient construction practices.
Olivia also dedicates time to a non-profit, Green|Spaces. Through homeowner education and energy audits, the program aims to reduce neighborhood energy consumption by 30% – a competitive position to receive a $5M grant from Georgetown University.
Josh is excited to begin his relationship with EES Consulting, continuing his passion of making businesses more energy efficient through sustainable operations and building retrofits. His experience in commercial environmental audits for both energy and water usage and energy efficiency remodeling, along with his Bachelors in Risk Management and Masters in Earth and Environmental Resources, enable him to bring technical energy solutions to all types of businesses as it makes solid financial business sense.
Josh Berry is a welcomed asset to the EES team, as it possesses a unique set of tools backed by its diverse group of professionals to identify and implement a variety of energy, waste and water solutions which differentiates EES from similar providers.
VP of Sales
Charles Rollins has over 35 years experience in the carpet industry, ranging from fiber, yarn, and carpet manufacturing to warranty service and product care. He has also been involved in large equipment sales for the carpet industry. He spent over 23 years with AlliedSignal and Honeywell Corporations where he supported a large customer base and warranty service. He recently retired from a major carpet manufacturer in the Berkshire Hathaway organization where he was Director of the Product Support Group with responsibility for installation and care of all flooring products. While there he led in the development of an industry-recognized product care training and support program.
Rollins is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from Georgia State University.
