EES Consulting is pleased to welcome Augie Reuss to the EES Consulting team in Houston, TX. Augie brings over 10 years of energy management and procurement experience to EES Consulting. His sales experience revolves around relationship-based approach during his sales process, ensuring that the client’s needs come first.
Over the past eight years, he has helped save his customers well over a million dollars, building strong relationships along the way in many areas of business including grocery, cold storage, oil and gas among others. Augie is also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Augie was recently featured as one of Houston Business Journal’s People on the Move. He recently sat down with the Marketing Department to discuss his career and his future with EES Consulting.
How did you first learn about EES Consulting?
While working at Incite Energy, I referred one of my customers to them and they did a great job servicing them.
Before working at EES Consulting, what was the most unusual job you’ve ever had?
Changing light bulbs in the Coast Guard.
What do you like most about EES Consulting?
It’s a team atmosphere, we all work together to help our customers.
What drew you to EES Consulting originally?
I had been selling energy for years and I knew that efficiency is the future of energy in Texas.
What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with EES Consulting?
To become the top sales person in the company and help open new markets.
What are three career lessons you have learned thus far?
Money is not the most important thing in life.
Find a career that you love and you will never work a day in your life.
